This Hallows Eve I'm planning a sort of "getaway" for myself. My original plan was to stay at home and celebrate the harvest in solitude, until those plans were foiled and I had to relocate. Now I'm spending this weekend in a vacant house (save for a cat) with little more than a feast, and my art supplies. Ironically, I am severed from my Photoshop, which I admit has become a crutch in my learning to paint/draw, so having to find a place other than home to stay was an accidental savior, as I believe beginning with the pencil and paper, as I always have, will help me reconnect with that long lost side of my artwork. So over the course of last night, my dear Tarantula, Sabriel, shed her first molt while sharing our friendship! I have learned a very valuable lesson from the arduous, painstaking, and delicate process that she has endured. To Sabriel, this change, this shedding of her own body, is a necessity to her survival. If she had not completed it, she could very well have died. But, through all she had gone through, she emerged from her old skin with a fresh, new, and undoubtedly better body than before. So here's my list of positive things for the day! 1: Matthew has messaged me, and He's absolutely fine! No Typhoon damage! Yay! 2: I got my old, vintage 1997 Version 1 Digimon working! I <3 you Koromon! 3: I'm making plans for forwarding my career, and it's art based! Yippee!! Okay, so now that I have those covered, time for the fun stuff! I've decided that it's in my best interest to follow my art in whatever I do for a career, since I dont want it to go to waste, and it's my only honed asset that can truly bring me monies... So I'm, over the next few weeks, going to work on my portfolio to become a, you guessed it, TATTOO ARTIST!!!
